Japan's DDI and IDO rollout of CDMAOne, an "always on" packet data service is just in time. Clearly NTT DoCoMo's "iMode" has been getting hot "all the rage in Japan". It will be of interest to see how huge the CDMAOne data service in Japan rapidly becomes. This is important for QCOM IMO. Does anyone know how the price structure of DDI/IDO CDMAOne data services compare with DoCoMo - hopefully equal to or less than NTT DoCoMo - to gain market share.
