great analysis from RB " I nternet Capital to Rise Despite Fears:

Grandiose Internet Capital Group finished Monday's trading session off 8 1/8 points, or
4.67%, to close at 165 3/4. Internet Capital traded as low as 155 3/4. It was quite an
impressive performance considering Barron's bearish opinion of the stock this which ran
this weekend.

It should be noted that retail investors made up a large percent of Monday's trading
volume. As retail investors lightened their position of Internet Capital, Institutional
investors decided to stand firm. Institutional investors are fully aware of the "Barrons
effect": retail investors selling in panic mode thinking the aritcle is news. (That's hardly the
case. Barrons articles are opinion, not news. Because they are a weekly magazine, they
are unable to break important stories cover breaking news. Put another way, Barrons is
full of commentary and facts that investors are already aware of.)
Eventually, as the dust settles, the Barron-trashed stock rises and those who have sold
out or sheer panic find themselves bidding up the same stock at much higher prices. So
it is a rather funny picture: Whild retail investors panic, Institutional investors sit tight and
add to their position on the dips.

WHY INTERNET CAPITAL WILL CONTINUE ITS CLIMB NORTH

Why will Internet Capital continue its rise north? Internet Capital will have a lot of
stock-boosting news to share in 2000. Expect news from any of Internet Capital's 47+
partner companies at any given moment.

INTERNET CAPITAL TO BRING PARTNER COMPANIES PUBLIC:

Internet Capital has said publicly that it plans to bring 12 of its partner companies public
Candidates in 2000. Among the IPO candidates:

--Benchmarking Partners
--Deja.com
--CommerX
--CommerceQuest
--Universal Access
--ComputerJobs.com
--eMerge Interactive
--ONVIA.com

Investors anticipating demand for these companies should provide a boost for Internet
Capital shares.

EVERYONE HOPES TO DO BUSINESS WITH INTERNT CAPITAL

Internet Capital has teamed up with AT&T, FORD, GM, IBM and DELL. When AT&T
made an investment in Inernet Capital, the Company said it has plans to do business with
Internet Capital. In a September '99 Fortune Magazine article, Michael Dell, after
recieving one million shares of Internet Capital, hinted that his company might want to
form partnerships with several companies in Internet Capital's stable. Expect to hear
similiar partnerships with FORD, GM and IBM in the near future.

INTERNET CAPITAL TO INVEST $1.4 BILLION

In a seconday offering of stock and dedt, Internet Capital raised over $1.4 billion dollars.
What will Internet Capital do with that money? CEO Walter Buckley has said that his
company wants a stake in 50 markets that represent the largest Business-to-Business
opportunities. Currently, Internet Capital has a hold of 25 of those 50 markets. Buckley
will be making a lot of noise tyring to invest in the next 25 markets througout this and next
year. This noise will be music to shareholders' ears.

STOCK SPLIT?

One last thing to consider: Should Internet Capital's stock reamin at its current level, the
Company may find it wise to split its stock again when the Company releases its
upcoming quarter's earnings report.

A BRIEF LOOK AT INTERNET CAPITAL'S LOCKUP

Needlesss to say, Internet Capital's lock up periods will release a lot of shares to the
Market. However, do not expect, as Barrons reported, for big blocks of shares to be sold
by insiders. This company has a lot to accomplish and is far too young for insiders to be
selling a huge stake so early on. Besides, ICGE has been trading for a mere five months.
It is believed that a scant segment of insider shares will be sold in upcoming lock up
periods.

IN SHORT

The outlook for Internet Capital remains bullish. Internet Capital Group is expected to
remain the clear leader in the Business-to-Business space in 2000. Internet Capital stock
will continue its northwardly movement in 200 due to a steady flow of stock-boosting
news. Internet Captial provides a unique opportunity for investors to benefit from the
Business-to-Business boom.
