I understand impristine's charts. They are similar in concept to the Max Pain (tm) info that Ben Antanaitis does.

The idea is that the stock will have a tendency to work its way toward a stock price where the greatest number of options will expire worthless. This has to be taken from the standpoint of both puts and calls.

In the case of QCOM that is so heavily weighted toward the calls, it could actually cause an equivalent of a short covering rally. This could cause a sell off the following week though.
