To be sure Charley Mane, there were many martyrs of the faith, but I disagree that they or any earthly "sacraments" were the reason that "Christianity" survives. The fact that Jesus sits on the throne is the reason the church survives. Let me show you why. 2Peter 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. John 20:31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. 2Tim 3:15 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. CharleyMane, I do not want to become as difficult as one who posts around here can be, but there are SO many things I really find offensive in the RC religion hiararchy that I have a hard time being very civil about it. For those times I apologize, but my stance is SCRIPTURE over catchisms and Jesus over pope. thanks dan
