sb: I don't care if you are a temporary member keep up the great posts. Oddly enough their are few of your ilk on this board as it seems to attract MSFT detractors who have a minimal financial interest in MSFT. I hope SI gives you a scholarship.

It would appear that MSFT is trying to clean up these matters and move ahead without the sea anchor but they will do so in manner wherein the line from the sea anchor does not get entangled in their propeller. They will do it cleanly and without future prejudice and at minimal cost to shareholders and will, at the same time, preserve their right to innovate. They are not stupid and they are not unreasonable but in this instance they can and cannot afford to be very tough. JFD

sb: Where is this new life? I will take it in either the rumor or the stock price performance. JFD
