Hi Frank, The argument contra your vision of opto-energizing the system is that the missus just doesn't want that unsightly battery pack in the house no matter how practical it might be. And that's the end of the argument. So sorry. BH&G and AD win out over America's Network and Sounding Board hands down. Of course, you're right. But you have failed to consider how crucial "the look" is to the well-heeled clueless class. Sorry, Ray
