PB, There is certainly a crowd at the top. All the systems from 650 up were within a few % in the benchmarks. Looks like the CPUs are outdistamcing the other system components.
Time for rambus type of faster BW memory to enter the fray.
Until rambus gets a lot cheaper people will plateau at the 700-900 level as more $ gets no more speed.
Those benchmarks certainly kill the freezer market, $4500/1gig just a few % faster than $1500/650 Athlon?
Kryotech mey be htting the end of the road with it's offerings obsoleted within months and giving minuscile gains.
