I don't what hell Paul is going to do when AMD really takes off this year. The goal is to make money as an investor, not be a cheerleader for one company or a hater of another. He loses whatever credibility he had with each successive post.

From the EBN - ebnews.com ______________________ Intel lowers Celeron prices By Mark Hachman Electronic Buyers' News (01/10/00, 04:19:45 PM EDT) Intel Corp. today nudged its desktop Celeron prices lower, part of what the Santa Clara, Calif., chip maker called a normal pricing move. After introducing its 533-MHz Celeron last week for $167 in 1,000-unit lots, Intel today cut its other Celeron prices by 5% to 10%. "Just typical price activity," said an Intel spokesman. Still, observers wondered if the move was a preemptive strike against Advanced Micro Devices Inc., Sunnyvale, Calif., which is expected to introduce the enhanced K6-2 or K6-2+ next month to challenge the Celeron anew. Intel cut the price of its 500-MHz socketed Celeron 10%, to $128, and lowered the 466-MHz version by 5%, to $89. The 433-MHz chip now costs $69, down 5%. Intel left the price of the 400-MHz version unchanged, at $64. ____________________________________________________________________ As per this article, AMD is expected to release k6-2+ next month.
