Now that's a whole lot of reading! I don't think I'm quite up to reading it all.

Brian, having read through I find some things that just are not scripturally sound:

VI. There is no other head of the Church but the Lord Jesus Christ: nor can the Pope of Rome in any sense be head thereof; but is that Antichrist, that man of sin and son of perdition, that exalteth himself in the Church against Christ, and all that is called God.

Though I strongly disagree with the position of the Pope I wouldn't go so far as saying he is the anti-christ written about in the bible. Yes, he makes himself out to be the shephard of the Christian church but as far as I know none of them have ever publicly said they were anything more than Christs servants.

From my understanding of the bible the anti-christ will try to exalt himself above both the church and Christ.

What I'm saying is that to make a doctrine that firmly declares the pope to be the anti-christ is very debatable and not something I would ever take a pledge to.

Chris
