Jay,Mact, Yamakita. I'm sitting on the fence as far as the market is concerned. Not exactly bearish. Somewhere between Mact and Yamakita. Happy with a 20% down. A high percentage in cash is good for sleep right now, so will probably keep it that way if there is no correction. Mact, agree with everything else you say, but I don't think AG will precipitate the very thing he's been trying to avoid. Even if rates go up 75bps from now till summer, the flip side is, that sets the stage for rates to start crawling back down after and you know what lower rates means in terms of rallies. Another matter that stocks aren't (or haven't so far) corrected with rates on the way up. From here to there, how much and when they will correct in the next couple of months is anybody's guess. I thought last month that middle of this month is the outside limit for a 20% down. So much for that.
