Good morning bovine one,
Good news on the pre-open. It amazes me that so many negative comments were posted last night about how AOL is now losing its momentum trading attractiveness by acquiring TWX. Hello people.....we lost that quality when the free ISP issue became moderately important. If the 80 million shares that traded yesterday represented the movement from "weak" to "strong' hands it bodes well for those investors looking for solid long term growth. I love momentum too and get plenty of it with YHOO, QCOM and CMGI. AOL is the first internet company to move solidly into the convergent future. Case and team will break the ground and set the rules going forward -- as a long term investor in this security I think the future is bright. Forgive me for being an optimist. Good luck.

Instinet is irrelevant. Yesterday at this time it was up 13 or so. AOL's upside potential has certainly been very limited by this deal... does anyone here really think they'll be bigger than Microsoft? GE? This smells a lot like CPQ/Digital or COMS/US Robotics to me... where are those companies NOW? -B
