I'd rather be eating than the one being eaten. That's all I have to say.

is this not the biggest merger in history? I have
been hearing people complain that aol doesnt have a
strategy for high speed internet access for quite
some time now,well- batter up!! here ya go!! we got cable
up the wazoo!
I know some are saying that aol is not a growth
company anymore but a media company, but man think of all
the leverage aol will have now.. like microsoft??
and no, Steve Case is not the antichrist!!
go aol,Qcom,cmgi,jdsu!!!

My comments aren't based on one day's performance. In fact, when I heard of the deal, before I even knew what happened to the stock price I wasn't happy.

I bought AOL as a pure internet play; a growth stock. Now, with the new conglomerate being labeled a media company it doesnt fit either description. This new company will have to work a helluva lot harder to make one day or one week moves like AOL has been known to do.

I'm no expert in fundamental or technical analysis but in essence aren't we diluting the possible growth aspects of our stock? Sure AOL makes a ton in revenue and grows incredibly fast on it's own (that's what I wanted) but now that is diluted with this noose around it's neck.

Just my thoughts.

PS. I'm out my long and I hated to leave but think it's time.
