I guess when you boil it down, there are different levels of interactivity that provide various degrees of value. The argument could be made (and rightly so, in my opinion) that Guide+ is interactive because it allows the viewer to actively scroll through the program schedule, search for programs by category,...

At the high end of the interactivity continuum is the ability to do something like order the CD for the music video I'm watching with one click on my remote and have it downloaded automatically in MP3 format to my PC/TV/home entertainment system. (I haven't seen this proposed, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.)

This 'higher' level of interactivity (I think I've seen it called 'couch commerce') is what I believe will generate the most revenue for GMST.

As you point out, the manner in which the _PG (fill in the blank) gets into the users' hands is not as important as getting it there somehow.

I think I'll wait for more signs of the Guide's infiltration into the living room before I add to my GMST position. But I'll be waiting anxiously...
