I think she was turned off by some of the criticism she received from some people I have not spoken to Kimberly but it shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where she is. She's probably making money for herself and her investors, grateful that she doesn't have a bunch of shorts and whiners accusing her of P&D. She also doesn't have to feel pressured to read through 1000 posts a day. With her gift for understanding the ways of the market, she should have been allowed to have her thread the way she wanted it, without having to fight for it or be reduced to hystrionics as some thread heads would suggest. For those who never bothered to read the header, perhaps you will see what I mean:Mar 21 1999 11:06PM ET For me, the birth of a new thread mostly represents a challenging and exciting proposition, affording the participants ample opportunities to share ideas, to enlighten each other and to profit from the gyrations of the market. Personally, I'd like to see this board as a meeting place, an alchemy of intelligence, experience, energy, substance and style. From this very prosaic and inescapable introductory paragraph, I will attempt to define the scope and breadth of our discussion... A virtuoso group of traders and investors working together, dedicated to the enhancement of wealth, a deeper understanding of the market and the enrichment of the quality of life, for us as well as for anyone else who cares to join us . This is as close to a trading Utopia as I can think of; I really couldn't have asked for more. We invite civility, kindness, sharing of knowledge. Guests, lurkers feel free to join in... We strongly discourage excessive embellishments, hyping, spamming, misoneism, misogyny, flaming and unnecessary or uncivilized arguments. Without being given that environment, why should she bother?
