PB,

Re:"intel sold out"

Yep its looking pretty good for both AMD and Intel.

With GTW and Dell suffering seems to me CPQ must be positioned to kick ass.

I know in retail they were pretty dominant in Q4 together with HP.

I just backed up the truck on CPQ at 28.

Considering they were at $50 a year or so ago.

Good luck to everybody.

regards,

Kash

PB,
re:"SOLD OUT is not the worst place to be in the world."

I believe that is still the question.
Intel's definition of "supply".

I will admit Intel is probably sold out of the few they can produce.

What is your WAG on Gateway-Intel story? Surely you have your own opinion.
:o)

steve

PB, "Sold out" comes just before "out of business" which is where Intel put GTW for part of the month. They had no product to ship for a short period. Right pissed off they were too, don't you know it?
Now only Dell in the top tier has all it's eggs in one basket. How long will Dell do this? Only until they see others taking some of their share, which should be in about 3 weeks, give or take a little.
