Steve - I've enjoyed reading your thread and I'm curious - do you trade short term options only? Reason I ask is that I've just started trading options but I buy the cheapest options I can find with the furthest out expiration date possible.

Sold all the RMBS calls at 9 3/8. Half were bought at 9 5/8 with the other half bought a t 6 1/2. RMBS was at 86 when I called the broker and 84 when the order was filled after 10 mins of waiting, listening to my order being read back to me, confirming prices etc.

Placed an order to buy INTC Feb 90's at 6 1/4. They were selling at 6 3/8 when I called the broker, came down to 6 1/4 and went back to 6 3/8 with the order unfilled while he messed around on the phone again. I don't think I got filled on this one cos INTC has gone up about $1 since then.

Not too happy with the broker - I applied for web trading a while back and it still hasn't been set up. Can't tell you who it is as they are a customer of mine so I have to keep huSCH !
