Actually - I've heard that Nokia is negotiating with four of the top five car manufacturers about incorporating mobile phones into a wider model range. This could be one key issue in driving mobile phone sales around 2001-2003. Nokia has a pretty solid position after Ford took over Volvo and Chrysler merged with Daimler Benz. So they got an inside track to two of the US Big Three car companies through deals involving European luxury brands already selling cars with inbuilt Nokia gear. This should be an interesting trend to follow.
