Yiwu, a hand scanner like that wouldn't even be worth it if it was free with free shipping, too. They are making a profit by selling that for $12. You can get a flat-bed scanner after rebates for $30-40, and you would be 10000% happier.

I notice the new postal rates proposal allow for a 20 percent increase in 2-day priority shipping. The other shippers must be doing the same, with the e-tailers subsidizing shipping.
