First, thank you very much for sharing your insights. Two questions. First, what time frame do you shoot for? 120days? LOnger/shorter? Second, you state to dump those stocks that dont stay with the group. According to your chart, JDSU&QCOM achieved 300% return, while BRCM&NT achieved in the 100% range. Are they staying or not staying with the group. TIA>

I cannot believe I did not know this thread existed. I have been reading the GTR for two+ years. This (along with the QCOM S&P and JDSU threads) will now be among my "must reads." I am afraid I missed a lot over the past few months. If there is any one particular post(s) you think I must read (other than your @2490), please let me know.

Cosmo,

Great post! Thanks for sharing with the thread. Just wondering, as you are going through the weeding out process to find the current "Best of the Best" do you use any fundamental analysis in the selection of final candidates?

Thanks,

SL2

Daisey, I'm afraid that you've oversimplified the process, and those that blindly employ your technique (likely to be novice investors) are going to be in for a surprise. It is my opinion that not all of George's sectors in his telecosm list are worthy of owning, and many of the stocks on the list (even in the sectors that I would own) are no longer good values at these levels (compared to what they were when he recommended them).

Stock selection runs a little deeper than "paring" down George's list based on charts.

Just my opinion...

P.S. Regarding Step #2... I wrote that book several years ago... The key is not to simply make it, but to hold on to it and grow it even further.
