Sheesh - i hope Microsoft is going to offer to open up "win2k" as well to a standards body before a coalition of Unisys, DataGeneral and NCR wrest control of it away!.

The difference here is that Sun has made some semblence about Java being open with the formation of the Java community process and Microsoft, well...we know where they stand on open-ness.
