Seriously--Gold? I too was thinking
of some gold, but you know, cash is
better. Gold mining is a sick industry,
I've changed my mind on it, oh, if gold
plunged below $200 I might buy some coins
or something, but tearing up the environment
to do something that doesn't do anybody any
good, not for me anymore. I've dabbled in
gold and done okay in the past, but walking
away from the idea alltogether.

By the way, wife's acct and my own blew through
the targets for the year today, now what?
Have raised cash, bought a little more cnsi,
snagged a batch of glia and a few March calls--
bottomfishing the VD model portfolio's one
stinker I guess!

I'm not going to give up things just because
my gain for the year has been met. The wife
is going to hang on to TGEN as an investment,
all paid for and all that. Genset has a mental
stop loss at my old target, which it blew thru
yesterday. I swapped her Axys for some snap, but
I still own plety of axph for the H&Q presentation
on Wednesday.

It's really been a lot of fun, even my little
Magainin, which is one of those sentimental long
term investments anyway (so cant trade it away)
has nearly doubled in the past month.

This biotech thrill ride may continue, but a little
cash in the account cant hurt.
