Yiwu, in the $60 and under a search I did at www.pricewatch.com, several flatbeds turned up that were 600x1200, with a couple of these were USB, too, and you'd probably be a whole lot happier with that than some proprietary ISA interface board. That said, I really would not take a hand scanner again if they were giving them away on the street. I had one, and it was difficult to use, the results were inconsistent, and just try to copy a page of something! You have to run this merge software (if it even comes with it). I recall trying to copy a recipe once and spent an hour messing around. Not a pretty picture, overall <g>.
