My handles represent me. I was married on the beach in Costa Rica and the ground was strewn with and reeked of YlangYlang, a major ingredient in Chanel 5. I suppose I could just have well as named myself 'mons venera', or 'unkempt closet'. I have both. But our handles are the faces or masks we choose to present to the thread. Just as we choose to groom or not groom ourselves or smile at people when we meet them. We adhere to certain conventions in polite conversation. Is "showpanties" your version of flashing us? Is it exhibitionism? Confrontationalism? What response are you seeking? What response do you expect? Are you a lingerie salesperson? Your handle at the very least implies that you are somewhat provoking criticism, lacking regard for polite convention in which exchange of ideas generally takes place. It implies disrespect for our parlour, and thereby disrespect to those who would just as soon choose not to engage in discussion with talking penis parts (TA), flashers, or rude, smelly, nose pickers, regardless of the value of the content they may bring to the thread.
