Oh come now, Guardian. Jill's posting this vignette on two threads is hardly spamming. You've got a point about the possibility that the investment banker may be disgruntled or "out of it", but let's try to keep the emotions down.

I don't think she has said anything that isn't going through the street today, fear of interest rate hikes. CNBC now reporting talk about 50 to 75 basis pt rise in next six months, with 50 basis pt increase likely to come first. Also, reports on CNBC about vociferous debate at the Fed on whether to have major i rate increase.
