Keep it simple, They are going to take 3c charge in March Q.
Considering they might have reported 53c in March Q, 3c
charge would still blow the 41c estimate by 9c at 50c.

For the DecQ, due 1/18, I am looking for blowout at 50-53c.

Remember when two weeks ago the rumor was that MSFT would miss their numbers?

And I said they could miss it because of legal fees?

And their investor relations said "We have not changed our guidance" and I told everyone that DID NOT MEAN THEY WOULD NOT MISS THEIR NUMBER.

Well, they're going to miss by 3 cents because of the caldera settlement.

Sorry, but you're wrong.

The upcoming numbers are for the quarter that ended in December. The Caldera settlement will be a one-time charge taken in the (current) quarter ending in March.
