I hear ya!

I think alot of today was the post AOL/TWX party hangover. It's earnings time now...

Trading portions of your net holdings is excellent discipline...

YHOO - I remember that ipo...I thought "how could a company that sounds like a chocolate drink in the can ever be a winner"...when it comes to the internet, check your preconceptions at the door!

I believe the selling today was good for the markets...need to get some momentum going to take out the old highs...kinda like pedaling a bicycle up hill...sometimes you need to bounce up and down a bit to get it moving again. Otherwise, things may get a little dicey...Would like to see the NAZ testing its high before the end of next week...

"Uncle!" is right! I don't even own YHOO and I'm on pins and needles. Anybody own Johnson & Johnson? I may need a good price on some bandages. Hoping this was another monster shake only--MK--

Couldn't resist - bought more LPTHA @ 17 13/16 right before close. It will do fine in the long run. Market Top / Manipulation question - answer could be YHOO, PPI (Thur. AM) and Greenspeech (Thur. PM). Also mergers and IPO's spring season starting.

YHOO = 0.15 (including charges). Jerry

Yahoo (YHOO) 397 3/8 -38 11/16: Internet portal posts Q4 pro forma earnings of $0.19 a share, four cents above the First Call mean; revenues rose 120% to $201.1 mln; company also declares a 2-for-1 stock split; trading in the stock has been halted....

OK! Yahoo beats estimates and declares stock split. WHAT STOCKS DO YOU RECOMMEND BUYING IN AFTERHOURS!!!!!!??????

I'll take a choppy swing at that pitch. Two bellweather earnings reports coming: YHOO, INTC. And just maybe after sleeping on that AOL/TWC deal last night, their dreams weren't so hot. That deal is actually anticompetitive, IMO. What else is coming this week? PPI? Retail sales numbers? CPI?
