I don't know how one jumps from 480G to 19.2T.
"The Versalar Switch Router 25000 is designed for core applications, providing up to 480 Gbit/s of throughput. In the future, in conjunction with Nortel Networks' OPTera Packet Solution, the Versalar Switch Router 25000 will handle speeds up to 19.2 terabits per second and ultimately support hundreds of terabits per second. A key component of Nortel Networks' breakthrough OPTera Packet Solution, the Versalar Switch Router 25000 is scheduled to be generally available in the first quarter of this year."
GA means that they did some Beta. Right? Never heard of it. Never heard of Nortel's OC48 or OC192. Takes time? Sure, but by then competition will be at OC768 (40G) speed.
