TA and FA are both important. I have a list of stocks that, based on fundamentals, I would like to own. Then I use the TA to time when to buy shares or calls. If the FA is good, there is less chance of bad news. Good FA is no guarantee of stock appreciation except in the very long term (and that can mean years).

I have probably mentioned most of the stocks that I watch in my posts. I also watch stocks that i wouldn't own, just to get a feel for the market. I would rarely get involved in them though. I have shorted amazon and bought puts in Yahoo. Both times I got screwed. This is why you can't trade based on FA, especially with shorter term options where you only have so much time to "be right".
