AMD had 825 patents in 1999

Impressive! And HP had 855.....isn't their new ad campaign "invent" or similar? Little AMD had almost as many as HP!

Speaking of patents, I noticed that my patent "Highly parallel computer architecture employing crossbar switch with selectable pipeline delay" (5081575) has been referenced very recently by Elbrus International, LTD in one of their two patents (5958048).

Cirruslvr,

<AMD had 825 patents in 1999 - more than much larger companies like Intel and Sun Micro!>

<17 ADVANCED MICRO DEVICES INC 825
18 INTEL CORP 735>

This is pretty amazing. I bet that someone at Intel is going non-linear over this one!
