Mike,

Imagine actually paying for advice like they received from their 'hedge managers'. That's right up there with 'military intelligence' when it comes to oxymorons.

I still fail to see why they (the 'hedge managers') couldn't 'walk the hedge' up, or out, a few notches to reduce the time and/or price problem. Yes, there would have been a cost, but the eventual sale of gold at the 'hedged' price should have easily covered the unit cost of the hedge when all was said and done.

Now there's talk of selling the crown jewels for peanuts. Tell me this whole thing wasn't a charade to rid ASL of their major find at Geita?

The meek may Inherit the Earth but they will Never get Title.
