mslawyer,

I know this is not what people want to hear and it sure as hell may not happen but I believe it will. I know that I will personally be writing deep in the money calls. No reason to sell stock. I will dollar cost my 2001 calls with the cash. The correction could last up to 6 to 8 weeks.

Ah the memories of my love for LT...a man who became bearish on the Strictly Drilling thread...called the huge correction one summer. I followed his suggestions and made a small fortune. But only, mind you, after challenging his assumptions over and over...I was smart you see.

BUT his calls were uncanny...

"So, LT...do you think Citicorp is a good short here?"

"Yes," would come the answer...and short I did...
money, money, money...oh the money I made.

Over and over, the guy proved right and I kept making money, money, money!

Then the market turned...
SUDDENLY...

"LT, do you think this is a head fake?"
"YES!!! SHORT, SHORT, SHORT!!!"
...and so I did...
...he was so good in the past on price targets, on pull backs on everything...he would be right here as well.

Well folks, I lost my ASS! Can we say Rick lost 90% of his capital? It's none of anyone's damn business how much that was, but it more than I could have imagined.

Oh yeah, folks are going to be smarter than that. Voltaire is sharper than LT. You have the emotional staying power to withstand the kind of losses I saw and remain true.

BULL!

FOR GOD'S SAKE, get REAL. Volt has a keen eye on what is happening in the market and has the experience to back it up. BUT STOP ASKING THE MAN ABOUT HOW TO MAKE YOUR PERSONAL INVESTMENT DECISIONS as if he is the omnipotent one.

What concerns me here are the new people who are clueless about what Mr. Market can and WILL do.

THIS ALWAYS ENDS BADLY.
