Terry, What it really amounted to was that I wanted a 72 1/2. Since there is none, I created my own. Today, the 80s were cheap and I didn't buy any 75s to go with them because I already had some. If the stock goes to par on the scam, I will probably be looking at 85s and 90s for a synthetic 87 1/2. Part of it also has to do with activity. I like out of the money options, but, if I am the only one at a deserted pit, I know I will not get the best price if I buy a load there. So, by doing the more active put first, I encourage the specialists and MMs to hedge their bets in the lower strike price, at which point I show up as part of the newly formed crowd for better prices. <g>
