David Cecil, one stroke of the pen from AOL and the analysts are thrown a curve ball. The analysts are screwed up all the time anyway. But I am taking a back seat and watching the fun. There is a paradigm change going on here with the AOL/TWX deal. Ted Turner is a down to earth, no nonsense kind of guy and so is Steve Case. I am happy that AOL is providing the lead in the way we are going to view and use the Internet and TV. Magazines (TIME etc.) are going to be a thing of the past.

I am not sure what Steve Case meant by "AOL/TWX deal good for YHOO" Anybody who heard that interview, could you post and share with us in what context he made that statement. He is too smart to make that dumb statement. If that statement was coplimentary of YHOO, as some of may think, then why did YHOO keep slipping aftter stellar earnings report?
