ted, all,
I see we got that queer trade again at the end.
Yahoo showing 34 1/2

It was a 500 share trade almost 2 hours after the market closed.

Cool.

Ted, <they believe that so long as Intel shows more profits per share each quarter, then Intel's stock price should be rewarded. ... They discuss this issue ad infinitum and can not understand how revenue plays into the equation. It baffles me.>

I think your argument here baffles me even more. I'll resist tossing out the usual Engel-ism ("Profits are ALWAYS BAFFLING to an AMDROID!!!!!") as I ask you to explain your argument here. If EPS shouldn't be used as a measurement of meeting expectations, what should be?

Nobody ever gets even criticized for buying outeL but they can get fired from some firms for even suggesting another stock. Look at what happened to Tom Kurlak. I am sure that a lot of analysts did a real "HEADS UP" when he got canned.

Times change and things change.

They used to say the same sort of things about IBM (both stock and PCs) and well before that about GM.

Times change and things change.
