dearest, are you staying with AOL, or you are bailing out like the Bald Man ...
If the tech goes into a correction, I would not be surprise to see it in the low 40s ...

Annette, not so... at least I don't think of it that way... here is how I see it... and of course I could be totally of mark... I mean way off... but humor the thought and see if it makes any sense...

AOL has been an excellent company with vision... and now they see and feel an upcoming pressure from free internet access ... not only the standard dial-up, but fast DSL as was revealed only in the past few days... so, what can AOL do to maintain a nice hold on the 19M subscribers it has...? what better than adding entertainment content which TWX has and can add to... VOILA, with time AOl will lose some customers, and will add some ... the net could be a gain or a loss of subscriber base... but if it's a loss, the TWX/AOL deal will ensure that it's not a huge one... how else can you justify AOl accepting the deal when 1AOL=1TWX however, 1TWX= 1.5AOL when AOL's market cap is twice that of TWX...? please excuse me if I seem somewhat baffled, but maybe I am.... AOL dropped from more than 8 points after the details of the deal were revealed...

best regards
amein

Annette,
Nice analogy between the Grand kid who had twin purpose of helping Grandpas for
stealing wallet. I am still there and won't be bailing out at this juncture. AOL got TIME and only time will tell who is right.

I am really angry at the timing. Had they waited till this earnigs season is over (anothre couple of weeks) many people would have taken decent profit and sold at that time rather than now with broken heart.
