Anthony: I for one appreciate your posts greatly, as well as the posts of many of the frequent posters here. I learned of BTWS here, allowing me to profit, again, and again, and again....I am contemplating joining the site, however I have some questions I have e-mailed that I would like answered first. Keep on posting as much as you like!

Anthony,

Please continue to post those picks that you can. Of course, I usually don't get in at your entry point, but there's usually enough movement left for me to make a few bucks.

Once again, I really appreciate all of the energy you put into SI.

Chris

I love your posts and perspectives, Have you ever considered having a drawing for one of your memberships as a way to determine the lurkers interest in what you have to say?

Plese post a short note to let us know when it is safe to go long on IDC. I have done some DD on this one, and it could go either way big with one press release on some key court decisions. It will be interesting to watch how IDC does in The Pac Rim with their 3G efforts.

It wasn't to hard to figure out that you were shorting PLUG, but their technology really could change things if clean energy were this countries goal. 52 units are out on demonstration sites and it certainly offers some large gas utilities a way to sell electricity to the consumer without using power company wires. Power deregulation is coming on a large scale.

Anybody know how some Bankrupt stocks keep trading?

I was e-mailed to check out CELP <cellular products> after doing my research I found the company went to bankruptcy court in 1996 all assets were sold to Hemagen Diagnostics Nasdaq <HMGN> Now the original Cellular Products was sold
back to the original insiders Mr. Hengst & Mr. Durski & the
new company name is called Zeptometrix Corp

Now the new & old company have the same phone number.

I called and talked to Mr. Durski I asked what happened to the old stock of CELP he said the stock was put in bankruptcy recievership trust. He stated the stock is dead
and worthless.

Back to the e-mail had said the stock was moving & was .05 with a target of .40 in 1 week.

Well when the stock open it opened @ $2.50 had a low of .02 & a high of $3.00 all in one day. Today it closed @ .40

I do not recommend buying this stock.

I just want to know how this stock could still be trading since the original company denies having anything to do with it????

Could all of the stock holders get together & form a new company????

All info. can be found on ragingbull.
CELP is on the pinksheets

please do not buy the stock I would hate to be the one that paid $3.00

Anthony...Dude....
Everytime I see some A..hole come on and complain about you, I get afraid you will say screw it, and stop posting. The only reason I have had any success in the market is because of you. In fact everyday I read to see if you have any new long recommendations. I find your advice to be helpful and to some of us small traders, the free part is nice too. Please keep it up, so I can someday afford to be on your private site (Which is cheap in my opinion). Again thanks for all the help and F... the idiots who bitch and moan. Jealousy is a warped trait!

Anthony,

Your posts are extremely helpful in clarifying which stocks are out and out frauds. I think when you help us find the frauds, you are doing your job and benefitting everyone on this board.

A@P,
Of course you should post your insights. SI has many wonderful posters that I enjoy...His Most Pinkness, Mr Wexler, Mama Bear, ect... but the insights that you afford from a pure trading perspective are invaluable. They are broadly applicable to other trades. The incidental info - such as the bear trap that you pointed out (I forget the stock but not the lesson even though it wasn't one of my plays).
Often the Darkside of the market is apparent only in retrospect. Usually, retrospection on a trade involves financial pain and your insights on particular stocks (as can be applied to other stocks) and your insights have prevented several occasions wondering What the hell happened?.
I do enjoy your insights even if I am not trading on a particular issue. And they are very useful to those that are listening....on a daily basis.

By all means please post your trades....I never short stocks (much easier to go long) but if you are shorting it, and I am long, I am gonna get out...fast.

Someday maybe you could teach us longs how shorting works...I tried it once just for the heck of it (100 shares of a cheap, boring stock to be safe). My broker (schwab) let me enter the short on the web, but 20-30 minutes later I get a call from them that says "sorry, nothing available". I don't understand how I am going to short stocks in a fast moving market if I don't know wether or not there will be shares available for me...when I go long, I can sell 5 minutes later if I need to...if I go short, it seems like I am locked out of any short-term price action...comments? (Yea, I know you didn't ask but what the heck...)

Tony,
Well, I wouldn't be me if I didn't have an opinion on this.

I think that as long as there is no meaningful time lag between your call on your site and when you post it on SI, there is no real issue.

If there is a time lag, then I would wait until you announce on your site that you are covering before bringing it up on SI.

Just my opinion and not meant to be inflammatory.

Lurker weighs in with...

Hey, by all means, keep on posting...personally it's usually at least interesting and sometimes quite helpful.

I think you have some people here that can't afford the pay site, and posting here must help them out. I don't know how your subscribers feel about you posting current plays here, or what lag time they expect. That might be a sensitive issue for you. I guess if I were you, I'd make sure not to piss off my subscribers before I worried about the free site. Well, no offense, I'm sure you already know that...

Good luck to you.

You NEED SI, SI does not need you, its a free country, no need to ask for permission, post or not post, your choice, what a drama queen! Like the little boy wanting to run away from home.

Call up SI and lets get a big offical vote, call the newspapers!

In the end you will post on SI, it makes you money, you need SI

Hi Anthony, sorry I missed you last night. Please keep posting. As mentioned before, the only reason I joined SI was to participate in this thread.
Having being burned several years ago by "hot tips" and stock promoters, to the point where I only re-entered the market in 1999, your recommendations and perspective in uncovering unscrupulous ploys are truly valuable.
Please do keep up the good work.
Best regards.

OK, I'm a lurker. I check daily to see what stocks not to get into. I keep a running list of you 'dog' calls. Keep posting please.

Who knows, if it wasn't for you I might have bought EGLO on the hype.
