I can not envision a mass movement of internet access from PC based AOL users to a TV based access. How many here are ready to trash your PC and surf the net on your television set?

HMMM...let's see...i can get my e-mail or order from amzn at my desk, sitting on my desk chair, in the office...or i can do it in a pop-up box on my tv screen, in my living room relaxing in my recliner with a wireless keyboard while kidding around with my kids while the ballgame is on.

0% of AOL is TV based Except AOL just bought a company with 13 million cable TV customers called Time Warner. You may have heard of the deal? :-)

No matter, however this falls out GMST wins.

William,

From what I have gathered from various articles AOL TV will be marketed as a complementary service to AOL subscribers at a 9.95 monthly fee as part of the AOL Anywhere theme. I do not believe that this strategy is an either/or one although some consumers desiring more TV content interactivity, internet browsing and messaging and otherwise have no need for a PC will opt for this service alone.
