barry--not sure I understand your questions. MTIC is primarily a hardware company making systems for storage area networks but has network software as well. I believe Novell is primarily a software company. As far as I can tell, they don't compete head to head.

And why does Novell need venture capital support at this stage? According to a recent 8K, "The Company anticipates being able to fund its current operations and capital expenditures planned for the foreseeable future with existing cash and short-term investments together with internally generated funds."

What am I missing?
