<I think what has happened in the past few days is : the big biotech stocks are now so incredibly "pricey," that it is no big deal to dare to buy CTII up to the $2 or $3 level, even though there is this problem that they are in a difficult financial position.>

Yes, PLUS they just took in another $3 million to tide them over for a year or so... so another year for a stem cell rabbit to get pulled out of the hat... er I mean lab.

On top of that the stock is trading silly cheap... I mean $40 million mkt cap for one of the most exciting technologies out there?? This is absolutely one of the most promising and talked about areas of biotech. Can CTII turn that into something I don't know.... but I'll tell you one thing, the very nature of these nanocap cases is that X amount of a cash infusion is probably worth 5X in market cap. In other words if this company has some decent studies released and trades up to $5 or $6 and is able to sell a few million shares there and raise $20 million bucks... it'll add $100 million [ANOTHER $5-$6 in stock price] to the market cap because you've now decreased increased the chance of bringing the technology to fruition many fold.

Lastly I'm in no position to value the patents held by CTII, but if you page back here I believe the number is substantial... if this thing were going public today it would be trading many times higher.

IMO only... seek professional help here on the bioboards for other opinions...and disclaimer: I'm long a ton!
