All,

One Korean engineer publicly listed his resume through the internet. He has some interesting background.

................

OBJECTIVE:

To have a challenging position in telecommunication area utilizing my knowledge and experiences with Hyundai and Korea Telecom, and keep on my personal growth in the most innovative telecommunication services area.

EXPERIENCE:

1995 - 1998 HYUNDAI ELECTRONICS INDUSTRIES Seoul, Korea
Engineering Manager / Globalstar Dept.
- Provided all engineering supports for Globalstar Thailand
- Participated in Globalstar Network Architecture Working Group
- Designed five Hyundai countries' Globalstar Network Architecture for both IS-41 & GSM based subscribers
- Reviewed & evaluated both Qualcomm & Alcatel interconnection ISUP spec. between Globalstar Thailand Gateway & Thailand Public Networks to finalize Thailand Globalstar Network Architecture
- Participated in the Globalstar Gateway facility & building design and construction for Globalstar Thailand
- Evaluated proposals for Globalstar Gateway construction design

..............

More..........

Three years ago, I moved to Hyundai Electronics Industries (HEI) to join Globalstar project. I was in charge of Globalstar Network Architecture for India, Thailand, Finland, New Zealand and Pakistan. In the position, I could learn a lot of knowledge in mobile network, specially in signaling network. Even we had good progresses in these countries, almost all Korean companies including HEI faced serious problems due to Korean financial crisis.

Finally, several months ago, HEI had decided to give up telecommunication service projects including Globalstar. So, I looked for new position where I can keep my carrier in telecommunication network field specially signaling network.

Hi, Brian. That link to Airtouch is smooth and well designed, IMO. Thanks.

However, I did not see info there referring to Snow Shoe's post-wine <g> question about an OnStar-type service for G*.

Did I miss it or have I not had enough wine to be able to see it? ; )
