Neocon, You can rest assured that will never happen..Progress was made at the latest summit in Shepherdstown and you can anticipate some sort of agreement within the near future :-) It is now inch by inch..Israel and Syria have to make some very unpopular agreements. (we all do in this life) giving up the Golan Heights for one.Water rights is a key factor etc.. :-( I watched the tiny state of Israel grow in the 60's by leaps and bounds. with the support of the US and the Jewish People in this country, many of these supporters had a number tattoed on their arm :-( and the US moved it along. why all the "shoulda' coulda' woulda' via references to Bibical Prophecy is beyond me. International Political Agreements, Policies and Treaties are not coming from anyones Bible. Today the emphasis is not on the Middle East that problem is resolved , it is now a matter of the "fine print" agreements.. Watch Russia and their relationship with China. Big changes are ahead in that region. Where is all the $$$$ removed from the Russian Treasury?? Giant Powers do not die easily. Our Geographic Location and Natural Resources plus our low population is our safety valve for a long time to come. My concern is AOL and how fast the stock market will be back up:;-)
