The XOM chart is an eye opener.
One of the best examples for how the whole market is a bubble (the greatest bubble of all time) and not just the techs and nuts.

Morning John,

>>the emini is always electronic<<

This contest to me is for experimentation and testing indicators. I seem to be able to pick entries and exits fairly proficiently...., atleast most of the time. But measuring the strength of this move and its duration needs some refinement and consistent results from those indicators is still illusive.

Part of the experimenting has been with stop placement.
With this another problem has become evident....

The use of "close stops" on the Emini and their placement is critical to money management on all but the largest accounts. The volatility and purpose of this medium may Never allow a small player to win with any consistency when forced to use close stops for survival of an account balance. Even with extremely high degrees of accuracy in picking market direction, any type of "Close Stop" appears to place a position trade in jeopardy. The run-over of my attempts at close stops cleaned out a fair percentage of my account over the last month.

It appears that the most important target for the large traders, within this electronic medium, are these **Close Stops**. I believe the analogy of the whales feeding on krill is very accurate. [Norwegian: planktonic crustaceans and larvae (order Euphausiacea) that constitute the principal food of baleen whales]

The large market players are here in the Emini Market to clean out the stops of the least strong and lightly capitalized traders and collect their fees.
Why else would they be fooling around with the Emini?

You're charts on Fibs are remarkable and well ahead of anything I've seen posted on SI concerning their use. I hope time allows you to continue.

Yes, I'd like to see your position on bonds. I believe the Fed will be tightening a full point over the next year.

My Best,

Chip
