I'm reading that the Boeing purchase of Hughes sat building unit would be for around 4B$. The division has 2.3B$ of sales, so it's maybe 65% bigger than SS/L...probably more profitable, too, given it's size and dominance in the biz...

Still, 4B$/1.65=2.4B$. Give Hughes a 25% premium for it's better profititability, you still get 1.8B$ or 6$ per Loral share for SS/L.

What have analysts been using for SS/L in their sum-of-the-parts evaluations?
