Actually at these levels I do think LU is a better buy that both CSCO and NT. I think they have some huge challenges but they will overcome them and they are good for an easy double - I can't say that about either CSCO or NT.

Yes, I do think OIE is a joke. It's pretty clear that TG doesn't understand what NT is attempting to accomplish here..but that's understandable considering he is a "telecomguy" in a "datacomguy" kinda world. :-) I do think LU has a strong lead in optics and this will help fuel company growth going forward but make no mistake - NT has the same transition challenges wrt circuit switches that LU has so the rough road isn't over. Yes, we hit a smooth patch but there's lots more bumps on the road.

CSCO too has a huge set of challenges - perhaps the most significant of which is living up to stockholder expectations... followed by growing their total available market.

All in all, from purely an investment perspective, given these levels and given an investment for the next 18-24 months I like LU, followed by CSCO, then NT. NT is overpriced here IMO.
