ULTIMATE VACATION: U.S. INVESTOR WANTS TO TURN RUSSIAN SPACE STATION INTO A RESORT!!

A reclusive American telecommunications tycoon is spending millions to renovate the Russian space station Mir, with plans to rent it to scientists, advertisers, even super-rich tourists searching for the ultimate vacation spot, it will be reported.

The DRUDGE REPORT has learned that KNIGHT RIDDER's Seth Borenstein has talked exclusively to a Washington-based venture capitalist who has spent $7 million to help save Mir and plans to spend another $14 million by the end of the month, when his company signs a lease for the 14-year-old station...

"Independent experts, even usual skeptics, say the venture has a good shot at working," reports Borenstein. "But this could hurt NASA's plans for the international space station, as Russia may ditch its commitment to a joint mission in favor of the new group's cold hard cash."

Developing Wednesday night...

I am so glad you found that tid bit of information. It validates both your galactic search for chaos and the enduring qualities of precious metals. I am very conforted to know that after this cosmic collision takes place, the atoms that comprise gold will survive waiting to recombined into the metal by another species from a different planet with an affinity to hard assets.

These must be very frustrating days for you. Interest in this board continues to deteriorate as the realization that the prospects for gold are bordering on zero. If gold cannot react to chaos, mayhem, sensational news headlines, fundamental analysis, or anything else inspite of your monumental efforts to locate that majic bullet of information that may be the premise of a rally, what else can be done short of finding a new obsession. You may find taro cards appealling.
