Re Innovator's Dilemma
how dry it is.

I thought it was riveting! Shows you how wierd I must be! <g> Maybe it's because the disk drive sector gave me my "best" lesson--certainly most expensive--in investing. I rode Western Digital, Applied Magnetics and ReadRite all the way to the top, and then almost all the way down. It took me almost all of 1998 to get back to even with the S&P. :o(

In any "case", I do like the case examples that Chrisetnsen presents. I found it easy to read, especially the discussions of sectors where I have dabbled. I've even looked at the construction equipment sector, and it was cool to see the innovation topic applied outside of the tech sector.

Best,
John

Everytime I pick it up at night to read, I fall asleep.

For any insomniacs with a yearning to learn TA... I've got the perfect cure: Martin Pring's, Technical Analysis Explained. It works both night AND day! I simply cannot read it. Lately I've taken to just thinking about reading it when I lay down at night or for an afternoon nap, I'm coughing up Z's within a couple minutes. Picked it up for nearly $50, would be willing to part with it for $25, and I'll pay postage. I have tried to read this book at least 8 times, it doesn't hold a candle to Charlotte's Web.
