There is talk on the Yahoo! thread about an article
at <http://www.columbian.com/> which supposedly refers
to the legal wrangling between John Warta and GSTX.
I could not find such an article, all I could find is:

communications provider headquartered in Vancouver,
announces the appointment of Bruce Becker as its general
counsel and senior vice president for law and external affairs.

Becker brings more than 20 years of legal and regulatory
experience to GST from Ameritech Corp. He will oversee the
legal and regulatory department and the external affairs
department. He holds a law degree from Harvard Law School,
and is a member of the Illinois Bar.

Vancouver

GST, B.C. firm seal deal to share network space

GST Telecommunications will trade space on its
communications network in California for space on the
Northwest communications network of a Canadian company.
The Vancouver company also will get $30 million in the deal,
GST announced Wednesday.

The deal will provide fiber-optic cables between Seattle and
Portland for GST's use, according to the company. GST said
this is its third major agreement with Worldwide Fiber, the
British Columbia company providing the fiber.

GST provides phone, Internet and other telecommunications
services to business customers on the West Coast.
