At the risk of starting another "contest" with you I thought I'd point out a couple of recent events which support my contention that bandwidth is a commodity and the future will be in selling services - not bandwidth. This isn't an exhaustive research just merely things I stumbled across during the past two days....each time it reminded me of our discussion.

The AT&T deal I read in this mornings paper .. the DSL deal I heard on the radio yesterday. The point being selling bandwidth is old school. Tomorrows carriers will be giving this stuff away just to get you on their network where they can sell you services. Think of it like pay per view.
