Greg... God ordains whatsoever come to pass in our lives for His glory and our good. He is making us into "LOVING" sons and most of those who have loved the most have unfortunately sinned the most... Luke 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. Divorce is blatant evidence of the fallen state of natural man... Two people start off in LOVE and making COVENANT to each other and God to LOVE each other for better or for worse unless it gets worse :-} In the end they HATE each other more than anyone they ever hatred before in their lives :-{ RE>>God has visited his situation; and that visit makes it worth all the other agony he has been through<< Job was a better man having SUFFERED !!! RE>>It's almost like now he has resolved himself to the fact--Lord it's not what I want but if it's what I need,,,,bring it ON !! << That is a VERY Sanctified attitude Greg.... Acts 5:41 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. We can rejoice *IF* we suffer for Christ's Sake however when we find ourselves in a bad situation because of bad or sinful choices we can still rejoice that God will have the victory in our lives and pray for the very attitude you have shared. Mormons are crazy..they will say the Bible is the "old" word of God but will not deal with it.. if pressed they say it is no longer reliable having been "tampered with" but they see the book of Mormon as inerrant ( without error ) yet it has been changed countless times in the few years it has existed.. it even say that Jesus was Born in Jerusalem which will likely be changed in the next edition. There used to be lots more mistakes but as we point them out they print new ones and recall old ones. If you know where I can get a really old one I would greatly appreciate it! One thing that I really love about being a Christian is the fact that we do not need answers but only the Gift of Faith! We do not need give advice as much as prayer.. We do not need to know the "answers" but to Love He who is the Answer ! Jesus Christ. I will continue to lift you up in prayer Greg. Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. That is how I was when I read your post... without words.. groaning in my spirit with a care that comes only from the spirit but can only trust that all things ordained of God work for our good. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called How I feel concerning the pains you are sharing is without words. To share anothers pain is love Greg.. no greater gift can you give your children than to feel their pain, forgive their youth, and to pray to 'Our Father' for them...
