MD: Say something useful when you invite people over.

I came since you posted on the original board. Nothing useful was in the messages. So, I am heading back.

Before I go, I want to point out that focusing on just the negative is no more intelligent than focusing just on the positive. I believe in balance.

So, of course Brix is not forging into totally new territory. Lots of other companies see the same gold in them thar hills. but, there is gold there.

But, Brix, in association with other parts of IDTC and beyond, is offering a comprehensive package of features once the building is wired. It can make money in so many ways. Try to see the whole picture, instead of complaining that a conglomerate is too unfocused and complex. I can see it very clearly. Try harder.

And, I want to own a conglomerate that keeps spinning off new businesses. Fairly soon, I expect Brix and everything else to be spun off into purer plays. You can then pick one or two to own instead of IDTC or diversify by holding IDTC.

As for the market reaction, I look further than five minutes into the future. With the news barely started, and NTOP and the Naz down, IDTC is not down much. Further, it was artificially propped up right at the end yesterday, and is not really down at all compared to the price in mid day.

Expect more news as Brix is announced officially, and expect to see Rose in commercials and talk about video to the home, ...

And, keep remembering that each little piece of the puzzle is just a piece. It will take time for the cumulative weight to push hard enough to overcome some of the resistance on the street. In particular, LOTS of retail and wholesale investors have the show-me attitude you display. This inertia will be overcome with increasing pressure and when the dam bursts, I expect to be there while some others will be all wet!

So, keep being negative. But, expect me to ignore you if you are one sided.
